We N-scalers have made some good progress toward completing some of the major upgrades! The figure shows where we're at on the industrial module upgrades that have included the new double track truss bridge, a siding switch replacement, and a new crossover from #1 to #2 main going counterclockwise.:D Charlie worked on the bridge abutments and surrounding cliffs with some good old fashioned brushwork to blend with the existing colors.

We have had some roofers move in on one of our houses on the residential module. A chimney was taken out by a passing storm and now the workers have temporarily covered the hole in the roof with a blue tarp. Bob you just have to contain that cheer of yours when Phil comes in with those bagels. You never did find where all of that wind blew that chimney and now you have had to resort to installing those temporary roof repairs.:rolleyes:

The street paving is continuing on the 'town with no name'. Larry has been busy with the street crew making sure we will have plenty of parking in front of the new businesses. To help augment our town expansion, we divided up some of the DPM town building kits amoung us to work on at home.

This coming Sunday (February 5) is our first regular gathering of the month. We should be able to complete all of the track installation on the industrial module. Hopefully this will include all necessary power drops (need two new ones) and a little ballasting.:confused: We will also need to do some general cleanup of the area in preparation for the CMOR International Festival on the 11th (Saturday).
