New KAMR Show Module

The KAMR N-Scalers have been busy on a side project. We are developing a portable show layout that will be reasonably light using two 64 by 30 inch modules. The layout is to be well detailed and DCC operated. It will fit in the back of an MUV and two persons will be able to set it up quickly. We want to provide KAMR exposure through this layout that showcases our abilities and strong interests in model railroading at shows and such.

The following pictures give you a feel for how the modules are built and how they will set up. The legs are attached using latching furnature hinges. These hinges will lock in the up or down position. The frame will be topped with foam sheething as the base for the layout/scenery.

The proposed track plan will be posted soon.

Bruce, you've done a great job!

The frame is perfect, and we'll be running trains in no time!

See ya,

Re: New KAMR Show Module

Bruce / Phil, when do you need me to bring in the last of my N scale stuff (buildings, lights, detail items) that I am donating to the layout?

Re: New KAMR Show Module

Hi, Brian-

It will be a pretty long time (probably months) before we are ready for structures.

If you're around this Sunday, maybe we can talk about structure needs then.

Don't worry about bringing them in just yet, though.

Hope to talk to you Sunday,

-Phil
