Thumbs up Post Clinic Report

We had our first clinic at our May 7th club gathering on RR yard design and operations presented by Phil Brooks. It was a good turnout and Phil provided a good overview on the many scenarios and pitfalls of yard design. It was interesting to be able to compare side by side basic yard designs and to better understand the reason for what can look like a splatter of spaghetti.

The handouts and references Phil provided are good sources of information. When the times comes to actually design your own layout or critique your existing yard these will be a good aid.

This is the first of a series of clinics our club will be presenting. I hope everyone gets a chance to attend future offerings. It's a great way to share our many talents with fellow club members.

Re: Post Clinic Report

Yo, Thanks for the props, Bruce & Bob-

There actually is some good info in those drawings, and you probably wouldn't know it from my clumsy yammerings, but a lot of that info is condensed from some pretty knowledgeable prototype sources. I stole from the best, you might say!

And Bob, I'm good with pictures 'cause we didn't have many books up in the TN hills where I grew up. They gave me books, but I just gnawed on the covers...
